LISTEN...
We love those who love us not, and appreciate not those love we receive. Why? Life is such a pained process.
At times within my days I grew to distrust the notion of happiness.
Scarred and tainted by the very ones who swore to never bring about such emotional soreness.
They say that not man, nor woman, is worth your tears, and the one who is won't cause you to cry. If such sentiment is true, then the truth with this deep passion evades me.
I have come to the personal conclusion that love is pain, and in the same token, an array of felicity in which no drug can compare.
The one thing I take solace in, as I traverse through these muddy waters, is that with each pained step I become a better man.
And a better man constitutes a better father; a better husband (one day); a better son; a better nephew; a better cousin; and a better friend.
Do you feel the same?
Friendship does not discriminate.
